2021 ECNP Workshop - submit your abstract

The next ECNP Workshop for Early Career Scientists in Europe will be virtual and it will take place on 3-5 March 2021.

Designed to stimulate high-quality experimental and clinical research in brain disorders and their treatments, the Workshop promotes and encourages the development of early career scientists seeking to pursue research careers in neuropsychopharmacology.

Application is by means of abstract submission.

ECNP Citation Prize: meet the winner

The ECNP Citation Prize recognises and encourages impactful original research in the ECNP journal, European Neuropsychopharmacology (ENP) and it is awarded to the most cited research paper in the preceding two years.

The 2020 winner is Olivia O'Leary, Ireland, for: 'The vagus nerve modulates BDNF expression and neurogenesis in the hippocampus’.

What is the c4c project?

The conect4children (c4c) project, a major IMI-funded initiative launched to take Europe’s clinical trial infrastructure for children to the next level, facilitating quicker and more efficient drug development for paediatric diseases, is already making its mark. Find out how:

The EBRA project

The European Brain Research Area (EBRA) project was created as a catalysing platform for stakeholders across the spectrum of brain research to streamline and better co-ordinate brain research across Europe, and foster synergies through enhanced co-ordination at the EU and global level.

EMA's Collaborating Expert Programme

The Collaborating Expert Programme offers guest researchers the chance to pursue research in the regulation of public health at the European Medicines Agency (EMA), gaining first-hand experience of an EU agency and an opportunity to develop new competencies in regulatory science.

Experts will be salaried by their home institution but hosted by the EMA, either in person, or remotely.
